Chris Jenkins is the Business Development Manager for General Parts Group Midwest territories including the major metros of Wichita, KS as well as Kansas City and St. Louis, MO. He has been in the restaurant industry across three decades, starting as a waiter/bartender at the famous Woodland’s Racetrack in Kansas City and later becoming the prep cook at a trendy Westport restaurant.

Following this, Chris took a Sales Representative position for a large used cooking oil recovery company. Through this position, he was able to work directly with large chain Restaurants, Hospitals, and Universities. At this time, he also became very active with the Kansas City Kansas Chamber of Commerce and served as an ambassador for the chamber and responsible for developing a diverse clientele.

In 2018, Chris joined General Parts Group, where he still works with a diverse customer base for all three of his markets. His greatest asset is ability to convey to the customer in ‘everyday’ language the practical benefits of General Parts’ services. From our major accounts to our smaller customers, Chris works to find the right solutions to match their needs.
