General Parts Group is dedicated to building strong relationships with our customers. We believe that to provide the highest level of service we must not only stay at the forefront of the foodservice industry trends; we must also understand our customer’s needs at a granular level. We do this by aligning our organization with the most relevant and effective industry associations.

Whether you’re an equipment manufacturer working with us to service your equipment or you manage a commercial kitchen, one of the most well-known industry associations for restaurant facilities management is the Restaurant Facilities Management Association (RFMA).

Why We Align with RFMA

Besides their expansive network of restaurant facility professionals, RFMA allows us to stay on top of the commercial foodservice repair issues that matter most to our customers.  This is done through regional member meetups, peer to partner webinars, training or informational webinars, and annual conferences.

The RFMA conference is one of the largest in the industry designed to allow restaurant facility professionals the opportunity to network and build lasting relationships with vendors and consumer markets. General Parts Group attends this conference annually as a Bronze Sponsor and exhibitor which allows us to showcase our products and service in front of our nation’s top professionals.

In 2020, we are excited to continue to expand our involvement with RFMA bringing us deeper into the association through group and committee involvement. This year’s Females in Facilities representative is Stephanie Lantz. This is Stephanie’s second year representing General Parts Group and dedicating herself to the empowerment and engagement of women within the RFMA community.

This year we are also excited to announce Michael Brown as the new Co-Chair of the Member Engagement Committee. Michael will work to actively drive regional event activities, evaluate member benefits, and build member engagement.

By becoming more active within the association, General Parts Group is able to gain a better understanding of our customers’ needs. As we roll into 2020, we are excited about our expanded involvement and the opportunity to work more closely with RFMA and dedicate our time to give back to this great association.
