General Parts Group, Acquires Ron’s Hotel and Restaurant Equipment Service, Inc.

General Parts, L.L.C., a leading service provider and parts distributor to the commercial foodservice industry are pleased to announce the acquisition of Ron’s Hotel and Restaurant Equipment Service, Inc. located in Portland, OR. The transaction closed on October 8, 2015. Terms of the transaction are undisclosed.

Since 1946, Ron’s Service has been providing quality restaurant equipment service, planned maintenance and installation programs for thousands of restaurants, hotels, hospitals, school districts, and universities throughout the greater Northwest. They have maintained long term relationships with most of the leading restaurant equipment manufacturers and carry a substantial inventory of genuine O.E.M. equipment manufacturer parts for distribution. Ron’s Service currently has offices in Portland, OR; Medford, OR; and Boise, ID, which operate as factory authorized parts and service centers for select foodservice equipment manufacturers.
The company will operate as Ron’s Service a Division of General Parts and will retain its existing management team with the exception of Owner Tim Foley who plans to retire.
